RIP Fantastic Four: Latest MCU Movie DEAD on Arrival?

The stars of the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps aren't doing a very fantastic job of promoting the film. Apparently Sue will be more feminist, possibly evil, and Johnny will not longer be a "toxic male." While not a dealbreaker, this kind of talk leading up to the movie seems to point to Marvel not understanding these characters very well...
